An innovative thinker and champion of multidisciplinary care, Dr. Wilson is an internationally recognized leader in critical care, both as an author and clinician-scientist teacher. Dr. Wilson has authored four major textbooks, hundreds of chapters, review articles and scientific papers.

Dr. Wilson has a diverse background that includes formal training in surgery, anesthesiology, adult and pediatric cardiothoracic anesthesia and critical care medicine. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience at the faculty level, caring for critically ill patients in a wide range of intensive care settings. In addition, Dr. Wilson has leadership experience in the management of critical care physician assignments, patient flow and resource allocation in a number of ICU models.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Wilson in his new role as hospital director of Critical Care Services and senior faculty in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care. His expertise and leadership will be a valuable asset to our team as we continue to provide world-class care to the people of Orange County and beyond.
